So who am I and what do I do?

Hi! I’m Alison. I hike. I cosplay. I knit. And most importantly for this project - I am a keen photographer.

This website is a place for people to come to see my work and reach out to me outside social media channels, so thank you for making it this far into my shiny new website and deciding to click on my blog.

I love using available light to capture scenes with bold colours and a cinematic feel. For landscapes, this can mean getting up early to catch a sunrise, racing the sun to get to a good location for sunset or going away from the city lights for a starscape. For portrait or cosplay photography, this means finding the best lighting and location to suit your characters.

And as a hiker, I know some pretty awesome locations if you’ve got a cosplay you can carry or hike in. I’m very familiar with the south-east Queensland convetion halls and the interesting locations nearby.
